Testimonials

"Thank you for helping both Ashley and I find a better path. I’m in a very happy and healthy relationship with an amazing woman. Ashley seems to be very happy as well and our kids are doing great. I’ve heard so many stories of people needing therapy, getting it from the wrong person and it sometimes doing more harm than good. That’s not the case with you. You were amazing and I’m grateful for your help." -James

"Her warm and personal approach is refreshing and genuine. During that time she has helped our children manage bouts of anxiety and navigate teen social dynamics. We found her couples counseling evenhanded and dispersed with real care and follow through. When called upon she met with us individually to put together a strategy to overcome a hurdle or challenge a fear. We are impressed by her continued education in her field and always feel she brings current techniques, literature, and methodologies to her patients and the sessions." -Allison

"I have seen at least six therapists over the years, not including when I was part of a couple. My experience overall was not very positive. Mary Crowe is different. She has genuine empathy for but also deeper understanding of the sources and outcomes of interactions in critical relationships. She also offers specific suggestions for untangling oneself from unproductive and unpleasant situations. I saw her initially for an alcohol problem, but I found her to be responsive to many other concerns. She is firm but not confrontational. This has been the most rewarding therapy I have had." -Rebecca

About

Mary Crowe

Are you exhausted by having the same struggles with your child or spouse day after day with no relief in sight? We often repeat similar patterns from our family of origin or conversely do the opposite. Either way we are stuck in a preordained negative cycle that we can not navigate alone. I have twenty five years of experience and training helping families change their communication patterns in a short term systemic model. These behaviors can actually perpetuate the very problems you are trying to solve!

I am an expert in parent training (acting out behaviors, phobias, sleep issues). I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which is a highly effective modality in couples treatment. I'm also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) a technique utilized to address trauma and anxiety.

I am a practitioner that will walk along side you with humor and care. I am honored to hear my clients story and treat them as so. Through the therapeutic relationship I will help you change the parts of your story that are no longer useful.
